This Album cover is for the band "CityMax" They are an Indie band from Chicago and are quite large in the underground scene.The album is called "To establish oneself in the world" The band consists of a singer who also plays the bass,a drummer, and the guitarist.I chose the font because it flows well with the picture.

This album cover is for the band "The Sleeping Car Murders"They are a metal band from New York and have been around for 5 years.The album is called "You Create Your Opportunities By Asking For Them"They have a 2 guitarists,1 bass,1 drummer,and 2 vocalists.I chose the font because it flows with the creepy vibe.

Knife Complete

My knife was created by using the Pen tool and also the Fill and Stroke tool. It took me about 2 days to finish it.When i first started i got frustrated and gave up trying to create it because i wasnt very good at using Adobe Illustrator,but the next day i figured out how to use Adobe and i finished most of it that day.I used four layers to create the knife.The first layer was the picture of the knife which i locked,The second layer was the handle,The third layer was the blade,and the last layer was the details which were the opening at the top and the two dots on the handle.I learned quite a bit from creating this piece,I learned how to use the pen tool,I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator in general,and I learned how to add anchors and how to add colour to it.I think my trace of the knife turned out better because it looks a lot better and overall I am more happy with my trace then my freehand.

My free hand drawing is pretty basic i used the Paintbrush tool to create it because i thought the Pencil tool felt a little weird.The free hand drawing took me around 30 minutes because i kept redoing it because i wasnt happy with it,I am still not to happy with it but i still like it.Overall i like my tracing better,but i like my free hand drawing because its unusual and i find it neat.
